Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz (170g) each
- 1/2 tsp (3g) sea salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) cracked black pepper
- 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp (2g) lemon zest
- 4 thin lemon slices
- 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Tear four large squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil and place one salmon fillet in the center of each square.
- Season each fillet evenly with sea salt and cracked black pepper.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Drizzle the lemon garlic butter mixture evenly over each salmon fillet and top with a thin slice of fresh lemon.
- Fold the foil edges tightly to create a sealed pouch for each fillet.
- Place the packets on a large rimmed baking sheet and bake at 400°F (204°C) for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Carefully open the packets and let the salmon rest inside the foil for 3 minutes to allow juices to redistribute before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
