Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz (170g) each
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (2g) lemon zest
  • 4 thin lemon slices
  • 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Tear four large squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil and place one salmon fillet in the center of each square.
  2. Season each fillet evenly with sea salt and cracked black pepper.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  4. Drizzle the lemon garlic butter mixture evenly over each salmon fillet and top with a thin slice of fresh lemon.
  5. Fold the foil edges tightly to create a sealed pouch for each fillet.
  6. Place the packets on a large rimmed baking sheet and bake at 400°F (204°C) for 12 to 15 minutes.
  7. Carefully open the packets and let the salmon rest inside the foil for 3 minutes to allow juices to redistribute before serving.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
