Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and washed
- 1/2 cup shaved dark chocolate
Instructions:
- Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the softened cream cheese until the texture is smooth and free of lumps.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar and salt, beating until the mixture is velvety and fully incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Reduce the mixer to the lowest setting or switch to a rubber spatula and gently fold in the thawed whipped topping using a folding motion to maintain aeration.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the dip to firm up.
- Serve with fresh strawberries and optional shaved dark chocolate garnish.
