Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Whisk together the low sodium soy sauce, oyster sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Note: Combine these first to ensure the salty bases are well blended.
  2. Stir in the brown sugar until the granules have completely dissolved into the liquid.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, ground ginger, and black pepper.
  4. Slowly whisk in the melted butter until the sauce looks uniform and glossy. Note: Adding butter slowly prevents it from separating.
  5. Optional: Pour the mixture into a small saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce reduces slightly and smells fragrant.
  7. Remove from heat and let it cool for 2 minutes before adding to your noodles.
