Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Whisk together the low sodium soy sauce, oyster sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Note: Combine these first to ensure the salty bases are well blended.
- Stir in the brown sugar until the granules have completely dissolved into the liquid.
- Stir in the garlic powder, ground ginger, and black pepper.
- Slowly whisk in the melted butter until the sauce looks uniform and glossy. Note: Adding butter slowly prevents it from separating.
- Optional: Pour the mixture into a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce reduces slightly and smells fragrant.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for 2 minutes before adding to your noodles.
