Ingredients:

  • 3 Large English Cucumbers (approx. 700g), sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese (115g), shredded fresh from the block
  • 8 slices Thick-cut Bacon (approx. 200g), cooked until shattered-crisp and crumbled
  • 0.5 Red Onion (approx. 60g), finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill, minced
  • 0.75 cup High-quality Ranch Dressing (175ml)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Coarse Black Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place sliced English cucumbers in a large colander set over a bowl. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and toss to coat.
  2. Allow cucumbers to sit for 10–12 minutes to draw out excess moisture. Pat the slices thoroughly dry with paper towels to ensure a thick dressing consistency.
  3. Add the dried cucumbers, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced red onion, and minced dill to a large mixing bowl.
  4. Pour in ranch dressing. Sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder and 0.5 teaspoon coarse black pepper. Toss all ingredients until evenly coated.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
