Ingredients:
- 3 Large English Cucumbers (approx. 700g), sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 0.5 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese (115g), shredded fresh from the block
- 8 slices Thick-cut Bacon (approx. 200g), cooked until shattered-crisp and crumbled
- 0.5 Red Onion (approx. 60g), finely diced
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill, minced
- 0.75 cup High-quality Ranch Dressing (175ml)
- 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Coarse Black Pepper
Instructions:
- Place sliced English cucumbers in a large colander set over a bowl. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and toss to coat.
- Allow cucumbers to sit for 10–12 minutes to draw out excess moisture. Pat the slices thoroughly dry with paper towels to ensure a thick dressing consistency.
- Add the dried cucumbers, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced red onion, and minced dill to a large mixing bowl.
- Pour in ranch dressing. Sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder and 0.5 teaspoon coarse black pepper. Toss all ingredients until evenly coated.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
