- 57 g unsalted butter, melted
- 25 g Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease your baking dish with butter or oil Note: This prevents the chicken from sticking to the bottom.

- Top each piece of chicken with a slice of ham.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded Swiss cheese evenly over the ham.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour this mixture over the chicken and cheese layers, spreading it with a spatula until everything is completely submerged in the sauce.
- Combine melted butter, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the sauce.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and the topping has turned a deep mahogany brown.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), as suggested by [USDA Food Safety](https://fdc.nal.usda.gov).
