Ingredients:
- 2 cups (300g) Granny Smith apples, peeled and finely diced
- 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup (50g) light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
- 2 cups (480ml) heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1 can (14 oz / 397g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp (1g) salt
- 1/2 cup (120ml) salted caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup (60g) graham cracker crumbs
Instructions:
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced apples and sauté for 3-5 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook for another 5 minutes until the apples are coated in a golden-brown, syrupy glaze.
- Remove apples from heat and let them cool completely.
- Beat cold heavy whipping cream on high speed until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture using a spatula and a figure-eight motion.
- Fold in the cooled caramelized apples and half of the graham cracker crumbs.
- Pour the mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Drizzle the salted caramel sauce over the top and use a knife to swirl it into a marble pattern.
- Sprinkle the remaining graham cracker crumbs on top.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours.
