Ingredients:
- 4 medium ripe bananas (approx. 1 lb / 450g)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions:
- Use a paring knife to slice a deep slit lengthwise along the top of each banana, creating a trough for the fillings without cutting through the bottom peel.
- Spread a small pat of softened butter inside the slit. Sprinkle with a pinch of brown sugar, then pack in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and crushed graham crackers. Top with mini marshmallows, pressing them down slightly.
- Wrap each banana tightly in a double layer of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Place the boats on hot coals (not in active flames) using tongs, rotating every 4-5 minutes until the foil is hot to the touch and the banana is soft.
