Ingredients:
- 4 medium Granny Smith apples (approx. 600g)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1/4 cup granola
- 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp dried cranberries
Instructions:
- Cut the apples into thin wedges (about 1/4 inch thick).
- Toss the apple slices in a bowl with the lemon juice, stirring gently until every piece is coated to prevent browning.
- Spread the slices in a single, overlapping layer on a platter.
- Place peanut butter and maple syrup in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until fluid and pourable.
- Using a spoon, zig-zag the melted peanut butter across the apple slices.
- Immediately scatter the granola, chocolate chips, and dried cranberries over the butter.
- Finish with a dusting of chia seeds.
