Ingredients:

  • 4 medium Granny Smith apples (approx. 600g)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup granola
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp dried cranberries

Instructions:

  1. Cut the apples into thin wedges (about 1/4 inch thick).
  2. Toss the apple slices in a bowl with the lemon juice, stirring gently until every piece is coated to prevent browning.
  3. Spread the slices in a single, overlapping layer on a platter.
  4. Place peanut butter and maple syrup in a microwave-safe bowl.
  5. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until fluid and pourable.
  6. Using a spoon, zig-zag the melted peanut butter across the apple slices.
  7. Immediately scatter the granola, chocolate chips, and dried cranberries over the butter.
  8. Finish with a dusting of chia seeds.
