Ingredients:

  • 1 thick slice (50g) Sourdough bread
  • 1 tbsp (15g) Full-fat cream cheese
  • 0.5 large Hass Avocado, pitted and peeled
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 pinch flaky sea salt
  • 1 tsp Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Place your 50g slice in the toaster. Cook 2 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is firm to the touch.
  2. While the bread toasts, scoop 0.5 large avocado into a small bowl.
  3. Pour 1 tsp fresh lemon juice over the avocado.
  4. Use a fork to press down on the avocado pieces. Mash 30 seconds until you have a mix of small chunks and creamy paste.
  5. Spread 1 tbsp full fat cream cheese evenly across the warm toast. Ensure edges are covered to seal the bread.
  6. Spoon the avocado mash onto the cream cheese layer. Spread it gently with the back of your spoon.
  7. Sprinkle 1 tsp Everything Bagel Seasoning over the avocado.
  8. Finish with 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes and a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  9. Eat while the bread is still warm and the shatter is at its peak.
